'Love Yourself and Heal Your Life' - workshops

Love itself is the healing power and the remedy for all pain.
(Hazrat Inayat Khan)

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t
Feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the Glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Marianne Williamson
(Nelson Mandela 1994 Inaugural Speech)

What are these work-shops about?

My work-shops are about change that comes from within. Whatever the problem, be it with relationships * separations * work * creativity * lack of direction in life * weight * depression * fear * addictions * lack of meaning * or dis-ease, there is one thing you can work on to bring about change for the better - and that is Loving Your Self! Truly loving who we are has nothing to do with narcissistic preoccupation with self, egotism or selfishness. It means respecting our innate dignity and grace and caring for our inner longings. It also means to acknowledge that we are born precious and that each one of us is a magnificent expression of life. Being loving towards ourselves allows us to be authentic. It enhances our health and wellbeing on all levels and boosts creativity. And it is a prerequisite for loving others. But our inherent worth we were born with is often overlaid by processes of adaptation and trauma. When we lose sight of our valuable, inner essence and become too alienated from it we get stuck in life and become prone to crisis.

Holistically speaking crises and illnesses have a useful function. They are an invitation to re-examine ourselves, our views on life, who we believe we are and what our true purpose is. And they indicate the way for us to change, grow and unfold.

The work-shops are based on Louise Hay’s philosophy (“You can heal your life") as well as Susan Jeffers’ writings (“Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway”) and my personal experience with clients. They are designed to help develop awareness of what holds you back from living life at your highest potential and to show you practical ways of how to bring about change. We will look at
  • the mental patterns that create dis-eases, tensions and fears,
  • current self-concepts and beliefs,
  • the nature of our true Self (higher Self / inspired Self) as opposed to the egoistic mind ('little me', limited self),
  • practical exercises which help to find new perspectives and approaches,
  • how to love yourself.

Where do the work-shops take place?
In London at the Center for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education CCPE (Maida Vale, London) and in my private practice, close to Paddington, St. John's Wood and Little Venice, Edgware Road, St. Marylebone and within easy reach of Kilburn, Lisson Grove, Notting Hill, Bayswater, Holland Park, Hyde Park, Primrose Hill, Camden, North London, Central London and West London.
